A Conversation with Romina Goshtasbi: The Founder of Joy of Tantra Yoga & Joy Of Tantra Academy

Coworker: Romina, I’ve heard about your Joy of Tantra Yoga Studio and your Joy of Tantra Academy. Can you tell me a bit about them?

Romina: Of course! Joy of Tantra Yoga Studio is a space in Madrid where people explore Kundalini Yoga, Tantra Yoga, conscious breathwork, meditation, and energetic awakening. It’s designed to help people reconnect with their bodies, their emotions, and their energy in a safe and conscious way.

The Joy of Tantra Academy, on the other hand, is where we train and guide new teachers in Tantra and conscious touch, conscious yoga practices, so they can confidently share this work with others.

Coworker: When did you start these projects?

Romina: The Studio came first — I founded it in 2022, 4 years ago, because I wanted a space that combined traditional yoga with energy awareness and Tantra practices. The same year, I created the Joy Of Tantra Academy because I realized there were so many people eager to learn, to teach and share these modalities, but they needed proper guidance and support.

Coworker: What inspired you to start them?

Romina: Honestly, it came from my own journey. Over a decade of working with clients in Tantra, Tao Reiki and energy healing, specially integrative therapy, I saw how transformative these practices can be — not just for relaxation, but for emotional and energetic balance.

I wanted to create spaces where people could experience the power of conscious yoga and Tantra, whether as students or future teachers.

Coworker: What was your main goal when founding Joy of Tantra Yoga and the Academy?

Romina: My principal goal has always been to empower people through awareness and embodiment.

  • For the Studio: I wanted to offer a safe, conscious space for practice, where every student could explore their body, breath, and energy.

  • For the Academy: I wanted to provide professional, ethical, and integrative teacher training, so these practices could reach more people safely and consciously.

At the heart of it, it’s about creating a community of awareness — a place where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Coworker: How does this connect to your Goshtasbi Method work?

Romina: The Joy Of Tantra Yoga and Joy Of Tantra Academy are part of the same holistic ecosystem.

  • The Studio gives students direct experience with Kundalini and Tantra Yoga.

  • The Academy trains facilitators and teachers to carry this work forward.

  • The Goshtasbi Method expands on these foundations into Tantric Massage, Reiki, energy healing, sound therapy, and chakra work and more holistic resourses.

Together, they form a complete journey from learning to embodiment to energetic integration.

Coworker: That sounds incredible! What can people expect if they join your Studio or Academy?

Romina: At the Studio, people can expect transformative yoga classes, breathwork sessions, and energy awakening practices.

At the Academy, students receive comprehensive teacher training, including practical techniques, ethics, and tools for guiding others.

Both spaces focus on mind-body-energy connection, self-awareness, and conscious living.

Coworker: Any message for readers who are curious about exploring Tantra, yoga, or energy work?

Romina: Absolutely. Start with curiosity and an open mind. These practices are not just about the physical body — they help you connect with your energy, emotions, and your true self.
